Story:
Netflix new film, A Merry Little Christmas is set around the upcoming Christmas. The story revolves around Kate a former college student who meets Everett a medical student.
Both of them become friends and slowly this relationship turns from friendship to love Kate does not even realize when and she leaves her job in the architecture firm of Boston city and marries Everett and comes to his city Winter Light here Everett is running his clinic and Kate has left everything and is now just a housewife and now their children have also grown up.
Kate may have left her hometown she still has many relatives here including Everett’s father Mike his brother Derry godmother April neighbor Doris Kate and Everett’s daughter Sienna and son Gabriel.
But this family was completely unaware of how difficult this coming Christmas would be for them. Kate learns from her daughter Sienna boyfriend Nigel that Everett is dating a woman named Tess Wiley who works in a corporate job.
Will this years-long relationship and marriage between Kate and Everett be shattered? Will Everett finally realizes that Kate is his perfect Mrs.

Positive Points:
The story of the film, A Merry Little Christmas, takes place before Christmas Eve, keeping viewers glued to the film until the end. Furthermore the film length is quite short making it difficult to tell when it starts and when it ends.
While the story attempts to tackle a serious issue involving weak links in relationships it doesn’t become boring as it also incorporates comedic elements such as Sienna’s boyfriend Nigel who is a Harry Potter tour guide by profession and is quite funny.
Kate the central character of the story is played by Alicia Silverstone and her acting is superb whether it is expressing her jealousy towards her husband girlfriend without any facial expressions or handling herself even in uncomfortable situations she has done everything well.
Weaknesses of the film:
Despite its strengths the film also has some drawbacks. The Christmas locations shown here, while beautiful, don’t feel authentic as they clearly appear to be film sets in some scenes.
Conclusion:
A Merry Little Ex-Mas tells a clean story that delves into the complexities of relationships. The second half of the film introduces a new character named Chet Morey who adds to the story intrigue.
